Recently, the Hebei Institute of Metals held a scientific and technological achievements appraisal meeting in Xingtai Steel's 207 conference room. The two scientific and technological achievements developed by Xingtai Steel, "Development and Application of Harmless and Homogenization Control Technology for Inclusions in High-quality High-carbon Special Steel Wire" and "Key Technological Innovation and Application of High-strength Ultra-clean Cold Upsetting Steel for New Energy Vehicles", have reached the international advanced level.
The expert group for this project appraisal was composed of well-known experts from Northeast University, General Institute of Iron and Steel Research, Suzhou University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Hebei University of Science and Technology, North China University of Technology, Hebei Metallurgical Technology and other industries. Professor Jiang Zhouhua, PhD supervisor of Special Steel Research Institute, School of Metallurgy, Northeast University, served as the leader. Tian Xinzhong, Chief Engineer of the company, and relevant project leaders attended the meeting.
The experts at the meeting carefully reviewed the evaluation materials, listened to the report of the project team, and formed evaluation opinions after questioning and serious discussion. The expert group unanimously concluded that the two scientific and technological achievements reached the international advanced level.
It is understood that Xingtai Steel's two scientific and technological achievements have formed 14 authorized invention patents, published 18 high-level papers, participated in drafting and formulating 1 national standard and 4 industry standards. It not only creates significant economic and social benefits for the company and society, but also enriches and expands Xingtai Steel's high-end product structure, enhances brand core competitiveness, which marks a solid step forward for Xingtai Steel in green environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction, as well as accelerating high-quality development.
